Should I reroll a slot that is already good?
Rarely. A reroll on an 82 chasing an 84 is close to wasted next to the same reroll on a 61. The exception is a card just under a band boundary.
Reroll strategy
One rule, applied consistently: always spend on the slot that is dragging you down.
Updated
Work down this list. Only move to the next item when the one above it is genuinely handled.
Adding a 96 to a squad whose worst card is a 58 changes your average by about three and a half points. Replacing that 58 with an 80 changes it by two — but it also removes the slot opponents will target and the one that limits which formations you can field.
More practically: 96s are rare and 80s are not. There are 19 orange cards in the entire game, but 43 silver ones and hundreds of chances to draw them.
Stop when the slot is within a few points of your squad average. Past that you are buying marginal gains at the same cost as transformational ones elsewhere.
The exception is a slot sitting on a band boundary. A card at 78 is one good draw from crossing into silver; a card at 84 is a long way from blue. Push the first, leave the second.
Updates add cards. The COACHES update landed on 2 August 2026 and the Chemistry update before it, and each shifted what is worth owning.
Keeping twenty or thirty rerolls back means you can react to new content instead of watching it from an empty balance. Hoarding everything is the opposite mistake — a stronger squad earns more from daily quests, so idle rerolls have a real cost.
A Reroll re-draws a player for a slot. A Refresh changes what is available to draw. They are earned together and spent differently, and rerolls are the ones you will run out of first.

Unknowable — the developer has not published drop rates and no site has them. Anyone quoting a number is guessing.
