Updates

Updates and changing answers

Game facts, code status, and official links each have a dated entry so changes are easy to spot.

All updates

Site launched with the full 214-card database

Every card in the Collection catalogued with art, OVR, position, rarity band and category — 214 cards across 14 categories, covering roughly 136 distinct players. Codes cross-checked against four trackers. Card data reflects the Collection as captured on 18 July 2026.

COACHES update

The game's Roblox title changed to [COACHES!], replacing the [CHEMISTRY!] tag. The contents of this update have not been verified yet and no card data here reflects it. If it added cards, they are not in the database.

Codes re-checked across four trackers

CHEMISTRY, 1MILLIONVISITS and GAGAMARU agreed as working by three independent trackers. ELUSIVE, OneThousandCCU and OneThousandMembers are disputed and marked unverified rather than listed as working.

Written from the card data rather than from other guides. Where something is unverified, it says so instead of guessing.

Wiki coverage

Systems, explained from what the game actually shows

Each page covers one system. Where something is read straight off the game screen it is stated as fact; where it is an inference from official art or a community report, it says so.

Source check

Where the numbers come from

This site's main claim is that its card data is read from the game rather than copied between websites. That claim is only worth anything if the method is stated, including the parts that are incomplete.

How the card data was captured

A full top-to-bottom scroll of the in-game Collection screen was recorded, the frames stitched into one continuous image, and every card cut from it. Names, ratings and positions were then read off that image. The card count was checked three ways — the game's own 214 counter, automatic card detection, and the per-category totals — and all three agree.

The dataset has a date

The capture reflects the Collection as of 18 July 2026. The game has updated since, so cards added after that date are not yet included. This is stated rather than hidden because a card database that quietly goes stale is worse than one that tells you when it was taken.

Positions are a floor, not a ceiling

The in-game position label cycles between the positions a card can play. Where two have been observed, both are listed; where one has, it is a minimum. No position has been invented to fill a gap.

What is inferred rather than measured

The Chemistry OVR boost is inferred from official art showing cards 14 to 17 points above their Collection values. The mechanism behind it is not published and has not been tested here, so the pages say so instead of presenting a formula.

Known gaps

Shiny cards are not catalogued. Per-card detailed stats, if the game has them, are not covered. Drop rates are unknown and no site has them. Each of these is named on the relevant page rather than papered over.

Not from Blue Lock Rivals

A different Roblox game, Blue Lock Rivals, shares the source material and dominates search results. Its abilities and mechanics leak into many guides for this game. Nothing on this site comes from it.

Community research

Video references

Community footage is used as raw material for capture and cross-checking, not as a source of claims. Where a video is the basis for data on this site, it is named.

FAQ

Quick answers

The questions players actually search for, answered from the game itself.

How many characters are in Build A Blue Lock Squad?

The in-game Collection counts 214 cards across 14 categories. That is cards, not people — the same footballer appears in several categories at different ratings, so the 214 cards cover roughly 136 distinct names. The game's own description says 200+ characters.

What is the highest OVR card?

Noel Noa at 102 OVR, in the Pros / Master Strikers category. It is also the only red card in the game. Base ratings run from 50 to 102, and official Chemistry art shows cards displaying as high as 105 once a squad is matched.

What do the card colours mean?

Colour is the rarity band, and it maps exactly to OVR with no overlap: green is 50–79, silver 80–87, blue 88–93, orange 94–98, and red is Noel Noa alone at 102.

Why does a card show a different position each time I look?

Because cards are multi-position and the label rotates between the positions a card can play. A single screenshot only ever catches one, which is why most character lists elsewhere record just one position per card.

Is this the official website?

No. This is an unofficial fan-made database. Use the official Roblox page and The LockerRoom's own channels for support, purchases and account issues.
