Squad OVR

Base cards run from 50 to 102. Squad rating is what every reroll is ultimately for.

The real range

Across all 214 cards, base OVR runs from 50 at the bottom to 102 at the top. That is the complete spread — no base card falls outside it.

Guides that describe 90+ as the endgame are working from an incomplete list. A 90 squad is strong, but the top of the game sits meaningfully above it.

Squad OVR is not just the average

Eleven cards give you an average, but Chemistry appears to lift effective ratings well above base when players share a category — official art shows cards 14 to 17 points above their Collection value.

So there are two levers, not one: raise the cards, and raise how well they fit together. Ignoring the second is the most common way to plateau.

Aim at your floor, not your ceiling

Rather than chasing a single headline number, aim at a floor. A squad is only as good as its worst slot, so the useful question is not what your best card is but what your eleventh best is.

  • Early: fill every slot and get nothing under 60. Breadth beats one good card.
  • Mid: pull your floor into the mid-70s and lock in a goalkeeper you can keep.
  • Late: commit to one deep category and push the whole eleven into the 80s together.
  • Endgame: mix in orange and red only where the gain beats what breaking chemistry costs you.

Same player, very different cards

The 214 cards cover roughly 136 distinct names, so most players appear several times at different ratings. Isagi runs from 68 in First Selection up to 94 in the Japan U-20 Squad. Rin Itoshi spans 81 to 94.

When you pull a name you already own, check the category before dismissing it — it may be a substantial upgrade rather than a duplicate.

FAQ

Squad OVR FAQ

What is the highest possible OVR?

The highest base card is Noel Noa at 102. Official Chemistry art shows cards displaying as high as 105, which suggests effective ratings can exceed base values once a squad has chemistry.

Is a 90 OVR squad good?

Yes, but it is not the ceiling. With a top card of 102 and a whole orange band at 94 to 98, there is real room above 90.
