Rerolls and Refreshes

Rerolls replace a player in your squad. Refreshes change what is on offer. Together they are the whole economy.

Updated

The two currencies

Nearly everything in this game runs on two resources. A Reroll swaps out a player you already have, giving that slot a new draw. A Refresh changes the pool you are drawing from rather than the slot itself.

There is no gear, no fusion, no levelling and no pet system. Squad strength moves one way only: you spend rerolls until a slot lands on something better than what was there.

Where they come from

Rerolls arrive from four places, and only two of them repeat.

Claim the Sendou reward first

Before anything else: like the game, add it to your favourites, and join The LockerRoom group. Then walk to Sendou in the lobby. He checks all three and hands over ten rerolls.

Joining the group is required for codes to redeem anyway, so this costs nothing you were not already going to do.

Spend on your worst slot, always

The common mistake is rerolling slots that are already fine. A reroll spent on your 82-rated centre-back chasing an 84 is close to wasted; the same reroll on a 61-rated slot moves your squad far more.

A lineup is dragged down by its floor much more than it is lifted by its ceiling. Rank your eleven by OVR and work from the bottom.

  • Fix the goalkeeper early — only 15 of the 214 cards are goalkeepers, and two categories have none at all.
  • Always spend on your lowest-rated slot rather than your favourite player.
  • Stop rerolling a slot once it is close to your squad average; move to the next one down.
  • Keep a modest reserve before an update lands — new cards mean new draws worth taking.

Why goalkeeper is the real bottleneck

Goalkeepers are the scarcest position in the Collection: 15 cards out of 214, spread across only 12 of the 14 categories. Most categories offer exactly one option.

That makes goalkeeper the one slot worth fixing out of turn. You are not just improving a number — you are closing a hole that no amount of flexibility elsewhere can cover, because goalkeepers do not appear to double as outfield players.

FAQ

Rerolls and Refreshes FAQ

What is the difference between a Reroll and a Refresh?

A Reroll re-draws a player for a squad slot. A Refresh changes what is available to draw. Rerolls are the ones you will run out of.

Should I save rerolls for an update?

A modest reserve is sensible, since updates add cards and shift what is worth chasing. Hoarding everything is not — a stronger squad now earns more from daily quests.
